1.SETTING
This story took place in Johannesburg at the Oriental Plaza where mrs Nebo uses to shop for their clothes with her friend Margret. This Oriental Plaza was developed as a result of the apartheid gorvernment which was leading the South African country that time.
2. PLOT
This story has a well arranged plot; Mrs Nebo the wife of future foreign affairs minister was driven by his chauffeurs to Oriental Plaza. It happenes well in a story how Mrs Nebo and her friend Margret where moving from shop to shop buying clothes and shoes. They eventually come across a shop where Mrs Nebo fallen in love with an Indian dress that she saw on a window dummy. She then asked the shop assistant if they have any silky scarf which will perfectly match her dress but they haven't. They stated searching a proper silky scarf until she and her friend found one which was perfectly complementing her dress in Mr Sakur's shop. However, Mrs Nebo then haven't enough money in her purse to buy that scarf. Further, she give a cheque which was rejected buy Mrs Sakur since it was clearly stated in his shop that they don't accept cheques. They have been there arguing with Mr Sakur and emberrassing Mr Sakur for he being at lower class and for his doubts about cheques. The other shopkeepers heard the dispute and dicided to buy the scarf and give it to Mrs Nebo as a present; sinces she said she will not leaving without the scarf and they were also scared of being evicted from the place as soon as the new government starts leading .
3. MAIN CHARACTERS
1. Mrs Nebo
She is a very morden, rich woman who has a love of clothes and classy things. She is a woman of her words as she stated that she won't leave the shop without the scarf and she definitly she didn't. She can't stand lower people to set law or offend her shown by the fact that she felt offended by Mrs Sakur and then started to humiliate him.
2.Mr Sakur
He is a man of his words. He once set that there will be no cheques allowed in his shop regardless of who are they from. This made him not accept the cheque from the rich and well known woman in the country Nebo.

Through the tunnel
Question 1:
This story was played/happened in a certain country which is not England. Furthermore, it happened in the morning where it was mentioned in the very first sentence of the story. Also,it took place on the school holiday.It includes the beach which was mentioned to be a crowded one. The sea which the english boy uses to swim and also where the tunnel is. There is also mentioned a shop in which Jerry and his mom bought swimming goggles. Jerry`s house is also part of the setting because Jerry`s room was mentioned that Jerry flung himself and slept on his bed.
Question 2:
The story is about the English boy named Jerry and his mom who went on vacation at a certain country. Jerry is his mother`s only child. He is only 11 years and he is a good swimmer. He and his mom usually go for swimming and sun burning at bay and crowded beach. Through his swimming in an out of the sea Jerry met some men who can swim and dive for more than he does. This triggers him to learn and practice more. One day while swimming Jerry encounter a tunnel which he figures out that he can only finish it if could stay under water for more than 2 minutes. Through his practises he got dizzy and fever that he ignores to acomplish his mission of going through the tunnel. One day his dream came true and he was completely filled with victory as he finally get through the tunnel. He busts this in her mother`s ears and she was not that happy with it. He was ought to swim no more from that day.

The main characters in the story are Jerry and his mom. Jerry is the protagonist as he is very well stated in the story from the beggining to the end. He practised and loved swimming. He went through the tunnel which he was happy about. He seems to be a very smart and careful child as he always makes sure he check if his mom is still around and didn`t left him behind. Jerry`s mom is an antagonist. At first she seems not to care about Jerry`s swim. She then didn`t let him swim after he has completed his victory of going through the tunnel.

My experience on creating my blog
I`m glad that I have finnally created my blog page. It was a good experience for me and I love it. Though I straggled to create it. I looked like I was computer illitrate. I didn't even know where to touch or click even though the lecturer was guiding us. I couldn't wait to finish creating my blog. An hour looked like a duration of 20 minutes. I didn't believe time could fly but it just did. It took me approximately 3 (three) hours to finish with everything. I felt relieved after everything was completely done. I am now looking forward for every new thing that we are going to cover.
